This past November, the BSEF received a $500 unrestricted development grant from the Medical Sciences Liasion Education Unit of the Upjohn Company to support the mission of our organization. In December, we sent out requests for financial underwriting of the production costs of the Proceedings of the First Biennial BSEF Conference, held June 26-29, 1993 in Charleston, SC. The Medical Sciences Liasion Education Unit of the Upjohn Company responded by pledging $1,200 and Keyboard Publishing has pledged $600. Each of us should remember the generous support that both these companies continue to proivde to the BSEF and make an individual effort to thank their representatives.
