Manuscript Reviewer Statement & Application Form

A large and diverse cadre of qualified and highly motivated individuals to serve as reviewers is necessary to move the Journal of the International Association of Medical Science Educators (JIAMSE) forward.  Peer review of manuscripts, completed in an efficient and timely fashion is a key component upon which our reorganized journal is being built.  This and other changes will position JIAMSE among the elite education journals of the world.  The publication of high quality articles is of paramount importance since this journal is the public face of our organization.

Each manuscript reviewer may be asked to evaluate one or two journal submissions per year and provide constructive feedback for authors.  We also depend on our reviewers to act as the "eyes and ears" of JIAMSE in recognizing valuable work that should be invited for publication in our journal.  All IAMSE members in good standing are asked to consider this professional opportunity to complement their careers and to also help our association's journal.  I invite you to complete and submit the Reviewer Application Form below.  We will review your application with the goal of adding you to our current pool of manuscript reviewers to represent a balanced variety of disciplines and topic expertise in basic science medical education.
