Dr. Morzinski completed his doctoral
degree in Administrative Leadership from
the School of Urban Education at the
University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Prior to earning this degree he was
clinical director for a comprehensive
mental health center in Michigan’s Upper
Peninsula, where he also worked as a
counselor, case manager and liaison to
several social service agencies.
Since beginning work at the Medical
College of Wisconsin in the early
1990’s, his work has focused on
leadership training and health education
programs, emphasizing the specific
topics of program evaluation, mentoring,
health professions teacher training and
development. He has published over 20
papers on these topics and has presented
his work regionally and nationally
through over 70 peer-reviewed and
invited presentations. He directs the
Department of Family and Community
Medicine’s Division of Professional
Development, and is director of the
department’s federally funded community
faculty development program.
Dr. Morzinski has consulted on the
implementation of several initiatives
nationally and locally on professional
development for health educators. He is
past chair of an international
Society of Teachers of Family Medicine’s
Group on Faculty Development. His
current scholarly activities involve
organizational systems, colleague
networks, and the evaluation of
educational programs.
